This work has a kinship with Palomar
at Dusk: the dark metal, the painted plastic, the grids and a "challenge"
of sparkle (in this case a large glass dish).
Of course, the operable word is "UP" which I would suggest is the
most active 2-letter word in our language (unless you prefer "No"--which
may be your problem). "Up" has dozens of attitude implications: being up,
getting up, headin' up, standing up, showing up, etc. It's got a lot going
for it!
The "fringe" of an old, rusty rake especially suggests clearing out
the cobwebs which clutter a positive attitude.
