Kyoto Evening Stroll

I've been to Japan four times now, and of course I always look
forward to visiting Kyoto. This is a magical destination--especially the
warm evening strolls along the canal and river.
Most of the elements of this work were found during my recent
trip. The image reminds me of the subtlety & elegance of oriental art--the
restrained use of colour, the harmonious and time-worn materials & the
rhythmical assymetrical balance of design.
